Tom and Jerry

I am told that in the 1980s Tom and Jerry was a poplar show on DPRK and USSR state television.  In the DPRK they even kept the names Tom and Jerry.

    There’s a Soviet/Russian cartoon series called Nu, pogodi! which is rather like Tom and Jerry. I wonder if this has also been shown in North Korea.
